And I guess if this criteria is met, these days it is a good album.Gajini is a 2005 Indian Tamil romantic psychological thriller film directed by A. And can be enjoyed till the film gets out of the theaters. Anycase another 'have-heard-before' song by HJ. It was not sung in an all out manner which I guess a song like this demands. ''Rangola'' A techno, folk song to end the album. Atleast I haven't heard her often, so, good to listen to you, Anupama.! Haven't we missed her often since that big bang song of hers in Thiruda Thiruda. ''Rahathulla'' Another average song, but for Anupama's voice. !!repetitive rendition has that effect I guess. My two & hlf year old niece goes on and on repeating the first lines 'suttum vizhi sudarae, suttum vizhi sudare'. Nice rhythm, catchy lyrics and smooth singing makes it a relaxing listening. Sung well by Sriram Parthasarathy (hearing for the first time) and HJ's preferred classical diva, Bombay Jeyashree.

HJ has picked a nice rhythmic tune for this melodic duel. ''Suttum Vizhi'' This seems the pick of the album. Vaali is the song writer as it is de riguer if you need Tanglish lyrics for more than a decade now. Easy going lyrics and an effortless rendition by Karthik makes it an ideal song to open the album. Has a 'have-heard-it-earlier' feel to it but by itself is a very peppy, addictive quality to it. The album starts with ''Oru Maalai'' a trademark HJ song. The early trailers point to a very neat film with Surya looking classy and his heroins gorgeous. If so, it is of course an interesting premise for a film and with diligent addition of our own dose of local sentiments and styling, it can be a good fun to watch. I read that this film is a take on the central theme of the hollywood film 'Memento' (Christopher Nolan). Ghajini, is the latest offering from Harris Jeyaraj for this film starring Surya, Asin, Nayanthara and directed by Murugadoss (also dir.
